US Servas Peace Initiative

Hello Friends!

In an effort to help expand our mission of promoting peace through cultural immersion, we are excited to announce US Servas Peace Projects! Our goal is to coordinate one peace building activity a month in our local community. We hope that in doing this we will spur a  nation wide initiative for peace. We will promote our project for the month and encourage Servas members across the nation, to join us and set up a similar event in their area. We will happily provide brochures, business cards or advice for your event if necessary.

In December, for example, we have set up a blood drive with our local Blood Bank. The “Bloodmobile” will be stationed outside of our office building and we will encourage Servas members and friends in the area to join us in donating blood. More information will be posted closer to the event.

Please submit any ideas you have for a Servas Peace Project or tell us about projects you may have already organized at info@usservas.org. We’ll be thrilled to post them on our blog and Facebook!

Thank you for your interest and effort in joining our mission to foster a more just and peaceful world.
