Ted and Diane Bright are hosts, travelers and interviewers!

What is your Servas background? I have been an interviewer for at least 15 years. There were 3 of us for our county of Marin some years ago, but perhaps some of us have stepped down. I am still active.

Where have you traveled? Where have I NOT traveled? All over the world with my spouse for the past 40 years!

What is one great memory you have from Servas (as a traveler, host, or interviewer)?  We’d invited a SERVAS couple from Germany with whom we had stayed to come to our home when in S.F. Great!

What hobbies do you enjoy? Internet, hikes in our Open Space with friends, documentary films at our local art film theatre, listening to NPR for a couple of hours a day, no TV.

What is one of your favorite quotes? “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

Why are you involved with Servas, and why do you think that Servas is important? Because it’s a way to “give back” for our incredible good fortune as Americans who live in Marin County, are able to travel a lot, and have a happy marriage we like to share with others. To show the world that Americans can be neat, tidy, and interested in SERVAS families.
